- Meath Camogie will be bringing the cup to the active school flag raising ceremony and we are very excited.
- Camogies sevens competition will take place in the coming weeks and we look forward to participating in it.
Active Events - November, 2017
- RUN AROUND EUROPE; the children continue to visit many European cities by running laps at lunchtime.
- SKIPPING THE MOUNTAINS OF EUROPE, the skippers continue to climb the mountains of Europe with their skipping skills. Well done!!
- SUPERTROOPERS is back!! Please encourage all of your children to complete their physical activity homework.
- Congratulations to all of the children who competed in the cross-country in Bellewstown last week.
- Congratulations to the boys hurling team who competed in the mini sevens competition and had very sporting games.
- Coaching with Meath GAA continues for both hurling and camogie. Thanks to Christine and Damien for their hard work!!

Enjoying 10 at 10 at St. Nicholas' Primary School. Over 350 pupils working towards our Active School Flag!
Keep an eye out for our school during Wednesday night's episode of Operation Transformation - 15th Febraury, 2017 @ 9pm RTE
On the 10th of February our school will join all the primary schools around Ireland for 10 minutes exercise at 10 o’clock in conjunction with operation transformation.

Longwood Community Games
Congratulations to Ms. Polgar and her dance troops who made it through to Community Games semi-finals. The dancer succeeded in winning a spot in the Community Games Finals this coming summer. Watch this space for an update.
